Food, Drink, Product, & Service Vendor Application- BEACON BRIGHT FEST

Directions: At the bottom of this page, you will find the application for becoming a vendor at the BEACON BRIGHT FEST. Please read the important information below first before completing the application!

• Date of Event- Saturday, September 26, 2026
• Time of Event- The event is from 11:00am-3:00pm
• Location of Event- This event will be outdoors at the Kershaw YMCA; 2229 W Fairview Ave, Montgomery, AL 36108
• Size of Space- Each vendor fee covers a 12×12 space. You should bring a tent or food truck. Limited indoor space for specialty vendors, but all food/beverage vendors will be outdoors. If you need more space, then you will have to pay for an additional 12×12 vendor space. If you have a food truck that is larger than 12 x 12, then you should reserve more than 1 space.
• Electricity- You will need to bring a generator. Electricity will not be provided.

Vendors must bring their own tents, chairs, tables, and power source (generator/propane tanks). We will have tables and chairs for customers.

Vendor Fees: Since we are an official 501(c)3 nonprofit recognized by the IRS, your vendor fee will be treated as a donation to The BEACON Institute. We will provide a receipt of your donation that you can use for tax purposes. Your donation will be used to pay for event expenses such as: renting outdoor inflatables for children, purchasing supplies for our educational workshops, and paying for signage. Funds remaining after covering event expenses will be used to issue mini-grants for our nonprofit’s funding opportunities.

There are different fees depending on your vendor type. Please review the vendor types below. If you do not fall under any of these categories, contact us at thebeaconinstitute.org@gmail.com and we can help with your application.

Refund Policy: We will only grant vender fee refunds if there is inclement weather and the event is postponed. If severe inclement weather is in the forecast, we will reach out to you on September 24, 2026 via email/phone. At that time you will have the choice to receive a refund, be a vendor on the rescheduled date, or let your fee remain a donation to The BEACON Institute without participating on the rescheduled date.
