The BEACON Institute is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to contribute to the enhancement of education for all, the improvement of accessibility for individuals with disabilities, and the enrichment of various other communities through funding opportunities that support initiatives; including but not limited to: arts & culture, elder care, veterans’ services, health & wellness, religious organizations, food insecurity, and international aid (to name a few).
Our logo features a lighthouse because we want to be a BEACON of hope to those who may be lost or seeking help during difficult times, the same way a lighthouse helps guide boats in the dark.
At this time, we are not issuing awards because we are in the early stages of our organization launching. Our website launched on October 21, 2025. We are currently applying for grants and seeking donations in order to raise money to support our mission statement. We are hopeful that we can begin to accepting applications for our funding opportunities in January 2026.
