Senior Citizen Assistance

If the links below are not highlighted and you are not able to click them, that means we currently are not issuing grants for that funding opportunity. Please check back with us frequently and once those links become activated, it means we have funds in our Senior Citizen Assistance account to issue grants. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Senior citizens are a vital part of our community. They are a source of wisdom, joy, and love. It is The BEACON Institute’s belief that our senior community should have support and not have to suffer financially in their later years. We are considering someone to be a senior citizen once they reach the age of 65. We chose this age because it is the threshold for Medicare eligibility and many government programs. Below are a list of Funding Opportunity Announcements that we hope can be a source of help for those we look up to in our community.

  • SCA-01: Bill and Grocery Assistance
  • SCA-02: Funding for Assistive Devices or Mobility Aids
  • SCA-03: Funding for Senior Medication Costs
  • SCA-04: Funding for Home Accessibility Improvements

Caregiver Assistance

We believe that caregivers are selfless individuals that give a lot of their time, energy, and love towards others that need special assistance. Caregivers give much of themselves, and often receive little in return. Therefore, we would love to provide opportunities to reward caregivers for the hard work they do in life.

If you are a caregiver seeking assistance, please visit any of the Funding Opportunity Announcements listed below
