Funding Opportunity Title: Funding for Teacher Expenses
Description of Funding Opportunity: This funding opportunity was created to help supplement expenses that teachers encounter in their profession. Teachers often spend large amounts of their personal income on their students. We want to help with those kinds of expenses including:
- school supplies
- educational software, games, toys, and tools etc.
- technology that aids in the education process
- subscription costs for educational websites, apps, books, magazines, etc.
- classroom snacks and water
If you need funding for something that is not listed above, you can still submit your request and our Board of Directors will review the request for approval.
Entry Period and Winner Announcements: This funding opportunity will open at the beginning of each month and close at the end of each month, unless otherwise noted on this page. Winners will be announced at the end of the following month. (Example: For entries submitted between January 1- January 31, a winner will be notified by the end of February.)
Amount of Funding: up to $100
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Applicants must complete the funding application at the bottom of this page.
- Applicant must complete a short explanation that explains why they are requesting this funding. (100 to 200 words)
- Applicants must include proof of expenses. Examples include receipt or bill
- If selected as a grant recipient, we will contact you to provide proof that you are indeed a teacher. Examples- providing your work email address or a photo of your work badge. We will never contact your employer

Explanation Requirements: Using 100 to 200 words, please explain to us why you are requesting this funding. As you are writing, you should include the following:
- Tell us all about yourself. Give us a short biography and your educational background
- What is the name of the school or institution where you teach? What grade level or age group do you teach? What subject areas? (We will never contact your employer)
- What will the funds be used for? Be specific about how this money will help the your students.
- Tell us specifics about any charges you have received or will receive
Upload a file: You must send us proof of what you intend to use the funds for. You can submit a receipt for an item you purchased, screenshot of an item you intend to purchase, a bill/invoice from an education institution or business, or similar types of documentation. You will only be able to upload one file.
The only personal information that can be shown in your document is your name. You should remove all other personal and private information from the file you upload! For your safety, cover up or black out any private information such as addresses, birthdates, social security numbers, account numbers, etc.
