Funding Opportunity Title: Funding for Summer Education Assistance
Description of Funding Opportunity: This funding opportunity was created to help supplement education costs for summer programs for students. The money can be used for any of the following:
- summer program fees
- summer program field trips/excursions
- school or educational supplies
If you need funding for something that is not listed above, you can still submit your request and our Board of Directors will review the request for approval.
Entry Period and Winner Announcements: This funding opportunity will open on April 1 and close May 20. Winners will be announced by May 31
Amount of Funding: up to $100
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age; beneficiary of award must be a student in preschool, elementary school, or high school.
- Applicants must complete the funding application at the bottom of this page.
- Applicant must complete a short explanation that explains why they are requesting this funding. (100 to 300 words)
- Applicants must include proof of expenses. Examples include receipt or bill

Explanation Requirements: Using 100 to 200 words, please explain to us why you are requesting this funding. As you are writing, you should include the following:
- Tell us all about the student that you are applying for. Give us a short biography of the student and include their interests or hobbies.
- What is the summer program? What kinds of activities will the student get to experience in the summer program? If they have a website or social media page, please include it.
- Tell us specifics about any charges you have received or will receive

You can submit a receipt for an item you purchased, screenshot of an item you intend to purchase, a bill/invoice from an education institution or business, or similar types of documentation. You will only be able to upload one file.
