Funding Opportunity Title: Funding for Caregiver Relaxation or Vacation
Description of the funding opportunity: This funding opportunity was created to help supplement expenses related to recreation activities for caregivers. Here are a few examples of what the funding can be used for:
- paying for a massage or spa treatment
- paying for a dinner at a restaurant
- paying for an airline ticket
- paying for a hotel stay
- paying for a car rental
- paying for an entertainment outing (concert, theme park, sporting event, etc.)
If you need funding for something that is not listed above, you can still submit your request and our Board of Directors will review the request for approval.
Entry Period and Winner Announcements: This funding opportunity will open four times a year. .
- Entry Period 1: Applications accepted January 1 through March 31. Winners notified by end of April
- Entry Period 2: Applications accepted April 1 through June 30; Winners notified by end of July
- Entry Period 3 : Applications accepted July 1 through September 30; Winners notified by end of October
- Entry Period 4: Applications accepted October 1 through December 31; Winners notified by end of January
Amount of Funding: Up to $100
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Applicant must be a caregiver for someone who is a senior citizen or someone with a disability
- Applicants must complete the funding application at the bottom of this page.
- Applicant must submit a short explanation of why they are requesting this funding. (100 to 200 words)
- Applicants must include proof of expenses. Examples include receipt or price quote

- What will the funds be used for? Be specific about how this money will help you.
- Tell us specifics about any charges you have received or will receive

You can submit a receipt for something you’ve paid for, screenshot of something you intend to pay for, a reservation confirmation, a bill from a business, or similar type of documentation. You will only be able to upload one file.
The only personal information that can be shown in your document is your name. You should remove all other personal and private information from the file you upload! For your safety, cover up or black out any private information such as addresses, birthdates, social security numbers, account numbers, etc.
