Description of Funding Opportunity: This funding opportunity was created to help supplement expenses related to animal nutritional, environmental, and behavioral needs. Here are a few examples of what the funding can be used for:
- aquariums, cages, perches, filters, heating, lamps
- bedding, crates, fencing, carriers, etc.
- behavioral training costs
- cleaning supplies, litter, litter boxes, training pads, and other waste management supplies
- collars, leashes, and harnesses
- food, dental chews, feeding and drinking bowls
- grooming related costs, shampoos, nail grinders, etc.
- pet toys, scratching posts, etc.
If you need funding for something that is not listed above, you can still submit your request and our Board of Directors will review the request for approval.
Entry Period and Winner Announcements: This funding opportunity will open at the beginning of each month and close at the end of each month, unless otherwise noted on this page. Winners will be announced at the end of the following month. (Example: For entries submitted between January 1- January 31, a winner will be notified by the end of February.)
Amount of Funding: Awards range from $20- $50
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Applicants must complete the funding application at the bottom of this page.
- Applicant must complete a short explanation that explains why they are requesting this funding. (100 to 200 words)
- Applicants must include proof of expenses. Examples include receipt for an item you purchase, screenshot of an item or items you intend to purchase, bill from a veterinary office.
